Joining the project -- Obtaining a test
|
Any person male or female who is interested in helping to further the project goals can help.
|
Males eligible for DNA testing must be a direct descendant of an ancestor who has a variation of the Castor-Kuster surname. When you register choose the Y-DNA37 - - Male 37 marker paternal test.
|
Once registered, you will be sent the 37 marker test sample kit. Payment can be made when you return the kit for testing or when you order the
test.

If you have not already done so, please submit your lineage and any questions you have to the CAOA DNA Project Coordinator.

Test Kits can be obtained from Family Tree DNA (FTDNA).
|
Anyone that can't take the test and is willing to help can participate by contacting a direct descendant male willing to be tested and letting them know about the project.
