Online Name indexes includes data entered by CAOA Preservation Partners, who dedicate their time to help us preserve the information that has been sent in by members of the Castor Association of America since 1983. The data comes in many forms including articles, census readings, scrap pieces of paper with a marriage, death or other information on it, historical documents, military records, birth/death/marriage documents. . . The goal is to not only preserve the fading documents, it is to create an index in which each person found in the Archive Files can be identified and linked to his or her ancestral family. |
